Clay Camp (July 8-12)

Service Description

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 12 pm We will use our week together to explore the ceramic medium.  We will try several different hand building techniques. Each day starts with a creative brainstorm and warm up, then get hands dirty! Student will be allowed to fire and glaze two or three of their favorite items which will be available for pick up 2-3 weeks after camp.   Snacks:  Due to dietary restrictions and potential allergens, students bring their own snacks.  We have water, but please send kids with refillable water bottles. We will have specific times designated for food and drink as we have to keep the clay and food separate. We will take breaks in Cathedral Park.  Refunds and Cancellations: We will refund 50% tuition up to two weeks before camp start date.  After that date, we are confirming staffing needs and buying supplies for your child.  We will not refund fees after those dates.​ Staff:  Danielle has a BFA in studio art and an MAT in Art Ed from Lewis & Clark. During the regular school year, she teaches full time as ceramics instructor for a local high school. Danielle will have a teaching assistant on site at all times, making teacher/student ratio 1:5.

Cancellation Policy

We require 10 days cancellation notice for a class or event to process a refund with a 15% fee. Cancellations within 10 days of class start will not be refunded. Classes missed due to illness, severe weather and state mandated quarantines/closures are not eligible for refund.
