Our Mission
St. Johns Clay Collective (SJCC) is here to provide a space where the community can learn, work and explore in the ceramic medium. It is our goal to build a creative and supportive community where time, resources and skills are used to support and sustain artistic experiences in the community.
We opened our doors in 2016 and have been steadily becoming a healthy hub of ceramic opportunity in the Portland area. We continue to grow and expand our offerings, adding a variety of classes, workshops, and firing for a reasonable cost and broad access.
