Master ceramicist Lisa Orr will be in Portland for this two day workshop. Lisa will share her step by step plans for building a wood burning rocket kiln. She will include your work in two firings experiences in the kiln you help construct.

Two Day Kiln Build & Fire
This event includes two days of hands on kiln construction and two firings. Workshop meets Saturday at 9 am and Sunday at 9 am. Participants may bring bisque ware to be included in two separate firings (cone 6 and cone 10). Volume of ware included per person TBD. Lodging and meals are not included. Cancellations require 30 days advance notice. Refunds are not guaranteed for cancellations after August 12, 2025
